Material of Construction — Resilient seated (water service)

  • Body & bonnet: Ductile iron DI, internally & externally epoxy / CED coated
  • Wedge: Ductile iron, fully encapsulated in EPDM rubber
  • Stem: Stainless steel SS 410 / SS 304
  • Stem nut: Brass / bronze
  • Stem seal: Multiple EPDM O-rings, replaceable under pressure
  • Bonnet bolts: Stainless steel SS 304 (encapsulated head)
  • Operating element: Hand-wheel (above ground) / cap-top (buried)

  • Body & bonnet: Cast steel WCB / WC9 / SS 304 / SS 316
  • Wedge (solid / flexible): Forged steel / SS, hard-faced (stellite)
  • Seat ring: Hard-faced (stellite) — renewable
  • Stem: Stainless steel SS 410 / SS 316
  • Gland packing: Graphite / PTFE braided
  • Bonnet joint: Bolted with spiral-wound gasket
  • Stem type: OS&Y for visible position indication

  • Internal & external CED / epoxy coating (water service)
  • Suitable for potable water (WRAS / NSF on request)
  • Conforms to IS 14846 / EN 1171 / API 600
